There’s a Ghost in this House — www.creativereview.co.uk
“For this one it’s the combination of two different ideas, the first a sort of poetic game of hide and seek, coupled with a game that I’ve played for a long time by drawing ghosts into empty rooms, which is just something I would do for my own entertainment.” Creative Review chat to Oliver Jeffers about his latest picture book, the tale of a little girl who lives in a haunted house but has never seen a ghost.

It’s Nice That go behind the scenes of The Guardian’s new weekend magazine, Saturday. Two issues in, I’m loving it; a smashing smushing together of previous weekend supplements into a lovely New Thing. Along with the recent Sight and Sound redesign, there’s some cracking magazine design happening this year.
Loving the new batch of posters for Mike Mills’ new film C’mon C’mon, released by A24 next month. Purest uncle-nephew energy right there. Not sure who shot/designed these – possibly Mills himself? If anyone knows, give me a shout.
Josef Müller-Brockmann — ilovetypography.com
Joanne Meister post on I Love Typography from a few years back, flicking through a collection of Müller-Brockmann’s posters as means to illustrate his wider design philosophy. I particularly enjoy seeing the exposed grids of each design; few designers have such mastery over diagonal space.
Getting lost in a new artist on Artsy is one of the finest ways to waste time on the internet. Bit obsessed with Leiter’s New York street photography, and his use of inexpensive colour film past its expiration date, embracing the abstract chemical mistakes that would result on his final prints. A wonderful marriage of observation and chaos.
